Hello travelers, friends and guests! Thank you for showing interest in World Tour 2007 - I hope you supply lots of feedback for us! Please read through this info to orient yourself to the boards and how we'd like things to be done!
1) First, if you haven't done so already please REGISTER for a free account. This will enable you to freely post on the message boards. If you have never used a message board before, click the 'help' button at the top of the page for more instructions.
2) Please note our three main sections titled "travel experiences" "design and analysis" and "general".
"Travel Experiences" is designated for responses to our intinerary and trip experiences. If you're reading through our journals and would like to comment on something that has happened on the trip, respond in this category. Also, students can elaborate in this section on their experiences, and feel free to ask questions about what we have done and seen!
"Design and Analysis" is designated for course work discussion and all of the "serious" stuff. After browsing through our coursework updates on the website, feel free to comment in this section. We'd like for this section to consist of both "heavy" and "light" discussion, as there are a variety of educational backgrounds roaming the boards.
"General" is just that - anything else you would like to say. Feel free to add suggestions to our itinerary, recommend good restaurants or gelato shops, or even offer some mother-ly advice and remind us all to drink water (out of a bottle) and get some sleep.
3) Ok, i'm sure we're all quite civilized here, but PLEASE remember your manners and refrain from coarse language, insulting other posters, inappropriate comments, etc.
Also, please use decent English in your posts, PlEaSe DoN'T dO cRaZy ~*stuff*~ lik dis. Not that anyone here would do that.
4) Have fun!
5) Now that you're ready to start posting, I just wanted to clarify how the posts are organized. Each "section" is composed of "threads." A thread is like a conversation. If you'd like to start a new conversation or topic, click "new thread." Each thread can have unlimited posts. Once someone has started a thread, you can reply in the thread and keep the conversation going. If that made no sense whatsoever, try clicking "help" towards the top of the page.
